These were taken a few weeks ago. They’re focused more on the Decatur Water Works than on the natural part of Mason Mill Park, as I didn’t know MMP was about to be gutted when I took them.

I was up in the Cumming/Suwanee area this morning to provide some Flash training, and afterward went and took some photos. Here’s a photo I took of Buford Dam today:

Also, I took a bunch of photos of some Herring Gulls that congregated in a Wal*Mart parking lot. This was a bizarre sight to me because we don’t really seem to have gulls around here.

Not my best work, but these at least will give you an idea of what it looked like.

I don’t know exactly how many Tennessee games I’ve been to in Neyland Stadium, but I’m guessing around 25 or 30. Yet I’ve somehow never managed to take any photographs or partake in the pre-game traditions (the Vol Walk, etc.). Typically, I was either busy getting drunk or sleeping off a hangover before games. So, I finally got around to all that on my trip up this weekend. Photos below.

I tried to count how many times I heard “Rocky Top,” but lost track somewhere between 10 and 15. My rough guess is 40 or 45.

We rolled into Greensboro in time for the last ConvergeSouth session yesterday, then adjourned for a few hours before a 6 p.m. barbecue. More to follow later perhaps. I realize I haven’t been very good about covering these events in a journalistic or even a journaling sense lately, but you get what you pay for.

This is a gallery of photos I took in while Amber and I were in Milledgeville last weekend. Also, have a look at the awesome photos Amber took of Central State Hospital. I was driving, and we didn’t really want to get out of the car, so I didn’t take any photos of it. There was a very creepy vibe at that place.

My surgery was going to take place tomorrow, but has been put off until May 18 so that it can conflict with the podcast party Amber and I had planned for May 20. At least now I’ll get to see the North Fulton Drama Club’s production of Much Ado About Nothing.
