I work in the Colony Square building on 14th Street, and there’s a bomb threat next door at The Proscenium. Radio reports say the police believe it’s real, though I don’t think that’s confirmed yet. Here are photos from the scene taken from my office window:


As much as I’d like to sit around and play journalist with updates every ten minutes, I’m getting my ass out of here for a few hours.






I used to work at Prom II. We used to have regular bomb scares because purse snatchers would toss stolen book bags in the bushes.
Hope that’s all it is.
My former employer — one of them — is in The Proscenium. Somehow I doubt that anyone is threatening them with a bomb.

Yeah, I saw all of this at Lunch (I walked to Colony Square). It was actually weird how how quiet things were along peachtree (except for the cordoned off streets).
