Microsoft’s successor to Windows XP, formerly code-named Longhorn, has been dubbed Windows Vista. And it will have all the features Mac OS X already has today. Yawn. Maybe Apple will offer one of its Intel-based Macs preloaded with OS X and Windows Vista. Maybe I don’t care, and just wanted to see how Windows Vista would sound when I used it in a more normal sentence. No sir, I don’t like it. After some initial trepidation, I’m getting sort of psyched about picking up an Intel-based Powerbook or Power Mac next year. That way, I can boot into Wintendo when I want to play some Leisure Suit Larry (not available for Mac OS X, boo Sierra!).

Call me a Windows fanboy but I can’t wait for the Windows Vista betas (coming soon I hear). I’m so glad the UI of Windows will finally be improved. I’m sure it’ll look nice on the tablet pc I plan to purchase in a month or so.
I don’t hate Microsoft, I just wish they’d write better software.
Microsoft… Bringing you yesterday, tomorrow.
And I know Leisure Suit Larry is available for Mac. Or, was anyway. Maybe they stopped updating it?
Was is accurate. Older versions can be obtained, but not the recent release…. which is annoying, because I played it on my friend’s PC earlier this week, and it’s hilarious.
